Trial Terms

The agreement a firm signs electronically after the discovery call, before its 60-day free trial starts.

These Trial Terms are between BusinessFirst LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as AccuMax ("AccuMax", "we"), and the firm named in the signature packet (the "Firm", "you"). The Firm accepts them by signing electronically through AccuMax's e-signature service (the "Signature Date"). We create no trial tenant, and the Firm uploads no information, before then.

1. The trial

1.1 We give the Firm free, full access to the AccuMax Practice OS and the AccuMax Agents for 60 days from the day we issue its credentials (the "Trial Start Date"), which we intend to do within 24 hours after the Signature Date. The trial is for the Firm's internal evaluation, for up to 5 seats. No credit card is required and nothing is charged.

1.2 Trial features may change or be removed, and there is no uptime or service level. The Firm will not publish benchmarks or reviews of the trial without our written permission.

2. Your information

2.1 We recommend sample data. The Firm may upload real client information only if (a) it has the taxpayer consents the law requires, including under Internal Revenue Code section 7216 where it applies, (b) it has accepted the Data Processing Addendum by ticking its box in the signature packet, and (c) its own written information security plan permits it. Do not upload health information or information about children.

2.2 We process the Firm's content only to provide the trial, as the Data Processing Addendum describes, and we do not use it to train any AI model.

3. AI output

3.1 Every AI-generated item is a draft. A qualified professional at the Firm must review it and make the final decision before it is relied on, sent, signed or filed, and AccuMax has no obligation for AI-generated items or for decisions made from them. Sections 4.7 to 4.9 of the Application Terms of Use state this in full and apply to the trial. The Firm is responsible for its own professional duties.

4. Ending the trial

4.1 The Firm may cancel at any time by emailing accumaxsupport@bfirst.ai from an administrator's address. Cancellation takes effect when we receive it, and we confirm it within one business day. Nothing is owed.

4.2 The trial also ends after 60 days unless the Firm signs an Order Form. It never turns into a paid plan by itself. We may suspend or end a trial for misuse, abuse or breach.

4.3 For 30 days after the trial ends (and once more for 30 days on request) the Firm may export its content, or it may ask for immediate deletion in its notice. We delete content from our active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days, and confirm it in writing within ten business days if asked.

4.4 If the Firm signs an Order Form, its content stays in its tenant and the paid term starts on the Order Form's start date. Unused trial days are not added.

5. No commitment, no conditions

5.1 Taking a trial does not reserve a place or a price in any launch offer. Launch offer terms are given separately and carry no conditions of their own. We publish nothing about the Firm because it took a trial, and use its name and logo only with written consent.

6. Limits

6.1 The trial is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost profits, and our total liability for the trial is limited to $100. These limits do not apply to fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to what the law does not allow to be limited.

7. General

7.1 The person signing says they are an owner, partner or authorized officer of the Firm with authority to bind it. The Firm is a business, not a consumer. One trial per firm.

7.2 The Application Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply; if they conflict with these Trial Terms, these control for the trial. A signed Customer Agreement replaces these Trial Terms for the period it covers.

7.3 Washington law and the courts in King County, Washington apply, with no arbitration. We may update these Trial Terms by email notice for new trial periods. A change in our legal form or state of organization, a merger or a sale of our business does not need the Firm's consent; the successor takes over.

7.4 Notices go to the email address the Firm used at sign-up and to us at the address in clause 4.1. Electronic signature is valid, and we keep the signed copy, the time, the signer and the version.
